I think you are right. I have a total of8 links, none are online. The other odd thing is that I had disputed an order for never have had being sent, and they gave them 3 days with no response. Yet they didn’t move the btc back to my account. Also most venders were “On Vacation.” I feel like they saw it was about to lose customers. that’s why a seller fooled around and didn’t ship for 10 days, maybe he knew about this thing, but if he did he wasn’t very smart, because now I will chase him on all markets.
When a market exit scams, they take all the crypto that’s being held in their escrow account that haven’t been paid to vendors yet. So some people like you will still receive product that was shipped but the vendor won’t ever get the payment. I noticed the “smart” vendors had a lot of complaints about customer not receiving product in the last few weeks, so they saw the scam coming and decided to scam too by collecting orders and never shipping, knowing disputes would never settle.
I’m just glad the last thing I ordered a month ago and hasn’t come in was only $100. Others got screwed hard.

Hi John. I don’t think they exit scammed. I received funds from escrow and disputes on Friday and Saturday. If they really planned to exit scam they would never release my funds I think, but I can be wrong. It would be sad if they don’t come back online, it’s a great market.

Agreed, I really liked DarkMarket over the others. I’m hoping they haven’t exit scammed but then again bitcoin did go up by 30K in the last two months and I’m sure seeing all that money sitting in the escrow must be really tempting to disappear with.

In the german tv news was a short clip about dark market. It was busted by LE. The owner was arrested.

Really miss this site, it was my go to… I personally don’t believe they exit scammed, from the time I used it the admins were really helpful and actually responded to all my tickets/disputes usually within a day. It was also so simple to use and there were so many unique products!

Does anyone know if buyers addressed were encrypted with vendors pgp keys or the markets pgp keys. They have seized the servers & want to get the personal info on them. Is that possible? Can pgp be cracked without the keys?
If you ever bought you would know you encrypt your shipping info using the vendor’s key. LE cant crack these.
Thanks bob, I made many purchases worth more than im willing to share but it was never clearly explained which pgp was encrypting my address. I assumed it was the vendors but never confirmed it., but thank you very much for that info i can sleep better now knowing they would need the vendors key. I always assumed they couldn’t crack the encryption i just got worried when i read they seized the server’s & planned on trying to get as much detail as they could out of them. darkmarket has been taken down, that is to say the owner, an australian man has been arrest at the german danish border in germany, who ran the site. so maybe not exit scammed, just the guy got arrested, maybe both, we dont know the details yet
